Born in 1978 in Kempten (Allgäu), Germany. From 2000 to 2006, Florence Bühr studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich under Prof. Klaus vom Bruch. In 2003/2004, she received a scholarship from the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design. Florence Bühr’s work has been presented in numerous exhibitions across southern Germany, including Kunsthalle Kempten, MEWO Kunsthalle Memmingen, Kunsthaus Kaufbeuren, and the Museum of the City of Füssen. Selected solo exhibitions include presentations at Kunsthalle Kempten and the Goethe-Institut Munich. Awards include the Advancement Award of the Dr. Rudolf Zorn Foundation (2011) and the Advancement Award for Young Art in Füssen (2017), and an Exhibition Grant from Sparkasse Allgäu (2025).
